How will you minimise my commercial risk?: Put simply, by minimising the data you give to the auditor. The less data they have the less risk you are potentially exposed to.

How can you minimise the data I have to send to the auditor, don’t they always ask for the same information?

No this a common, and costly, misconception. Different auditors will ask for different sets of data, dependant on the actual software publisher they are working for. However they can often be quite non-specific in their request, asking for broad sets of data. We know exactly what the bare minimum is that will satisfy the auditor, whilst minimising your potential risk and settlement.

Can I negotiate the settlement value I am presented with by the auditor?: It would depend on the software publisher involved; some will not allow this. However many will and again this is an area we are very experienced in. We will support you in the negotiation, empowering you to reduce the settlement as far as we know will be accepted.
